Tom Dixson
Chief Executive Officer and President
Tom became President and CEO of Global Health Trax in January of 2006. He is active in various San Diego charitable organizations, including UCSD Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD Cardiovascular Center Advisory Board, and the Honorary Deputy Sheriff's Association, and is owner of Dixson Enterprises, a property management entity.
Prior to GHT, he was the co-founder, president, chairman, and CEO of PETCO Animal Supplies. Other experiences include president/CEO of Rancho Santa Fe Crowns, Inc., a property development and management company, and management positions at Safeway Stores and Litton Industries.
Tom is an alumnus of San Diego State University and Denver Engineering Institute.
Malcolm J. Nicholl
President, Network Marketing
Malcolm is President of Global Health Trax Network Marketing. During a wide-ranging career as both a distributor and corporate executive, Malcolm has on three occasions built network marketing sales forces on both sides of the Atlantic. He also devised and implemented strategies that created the biggest weight loss company in Europe and which have generated more than $2 billion sales worldwide.
In addition, Malcolm pioneered the initiative of marrying direct response advertising and network marketing (DirectNET Marketing) which took one U.S. company from about $10 million to over $49 million in one year. As part of the latter strategy he produced a series of 30-minute TV infomercials hosted by Cathy Lee Crosby and Robin Leach in which he also appeared as the expert guest.
Prior to his successful business career, Malcolm was an award-winning journalist and author on two continents. He has authored or co-authored seven books in the health, education and business categories including a highly-regarded Network Marketing "how-to" titled "The Network Strategy."
Art Thompson
Director of Operations
Since August 2005, Art has served as Chief Operations Officer for Global Health Trax, overseeing Facilities, Shipping, IT, and Human Resources. Previous to his employment with GHT, Art sat on the Board of Directors.
Other experiences include leading two major community-based nonprofit organizations out of serious financial crisis, a business management consultant since 1990 with specialization in Direct Business Administration, Operational Oversight, Strategic Planning, and Program Implementation, and a decade with San-T Development Corporation serving first as Executive Vice President in 1979 and later as President/CEO through 1989.
Art has served on a number of public, private, and non-profit boards, panels, and advisory groups. Recognition for his past civic services have been proclaimed by the mayors in San Diego and Denver.
